Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite

Join our esteemed in-house Media Solutions team, dedicated to providing world-class media support to independent advisors nationwide. We are searching for a talented Content Specialist to craft compelling scripts for regular radio programming and TV segments. In this role, you will play a vital role in shaping content strategy, managing new and existing content, and coaching advisors on effective calls to action. What you'll do:
  • Develop evergreen radio and television script content for advisors; including but not limited to weekly radio programs, long-form TV segments, and traditional commercial segments
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and conduct research on potential topics
  • Run weekly brainstorming meetings with broadcast team to identify content ideas
  • Manage library of content for radio and television platforms; coordinate efforts to update and archive existing content
  • Identify gaps in content and develop plan and timeline for providing fresh material
  • Manager advisor content distribution lists; distribute weekly content to group
  • Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements and collaborate with compliance team to ensure content is compliant with state and federal regulations
Experience you'll bring:
  • 3 plus years of broadcast journalism/production experience, with a focus on radio and television content creation
  • Demonstrated proficiency in broadcast writing, preferably in news or talk radio formats
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently in a deadline orientated environment
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize heavy workload in a fast-paced setting
