Job Overview

This position is responsible for standard level work creating and delivering training and development programs related to technology and computer applications for all levels of end-users. Duties include developing content, conducting and facilitating training, creating, editing and maintaining technical and training materials.

Potential Specialty Areas: Cadence application, Revenue Cycle and Facilitation Team

Department: Revenue Cycle Administration
Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the department. This position may require weekend hours, but this request would be limited.
*This is a hybrid position.
Qualifications

EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree is required.
EXPERIENCE - Minimum of three (3) years of related experience is required.
EQUIVALENCY - Combination of post-high school education, job related certification and/or related experience equivalent to seven (7) years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
Experience with EPIC and patient access/scheduling preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

  • Assists with and conducts and facilitates on-site and in-house training on the use of computers and associated software programs, features and operations. Delivers training to a variety of audiences utilizing and applying adult learning principles. Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for new courses. Explains complex product information to non-technical audiences.
  • Assists with designing and creating training programs, training courses workshops, multimedia courses, computer based training (CBT), web-based training programs, online learning modules, and on-line help for all levels of end-users and IT professionals. Develops course schedules and writes and adapts training materials.
  • Participates in collaborating with management and end users to conduct needs assessment and identify training needs.
  • Designs, develops, writes, edits and implements customized technical documents including user manuals, online help, training manuals, installation manuals, help documents and tutorials for information technology equipment or software applications for end users. Gathers information about needs, objectives, functions, features, and requirements.
  • Translates technical terminology into audience appropriate language. Reviews, proofreads and edits complex or technical writing of others. Develops documentation for custom applications and packaged applications utilizing a variety of mediums.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation and instructional material. Develops and manages materials and versioning.
  • Sets up training and development environment in systems and programs. Tests delivery of training and development programs. Troubleshoots and maintains training and development environments to meet trainer and course needs. Maintains and coordinate repairs to all training equipment.
  • Collects and compiles assessment data to measure training effectiveness and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Supports end-users and provides tier 2 support for supported systems as required.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $66,083.89 to $99,125.84
Hourly Salary Range: $31.77 to $47.66
