  • Estimated hourly base pay: $20.67 (minimum) - $25.82 (midpoint) - $30.96 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?If you're aQuality Technician, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Quality Technician performs a variety of tasks in support of Operations and may include performing preliminary review of suspected non-conforming hardware, basic troubleshooting of problems in manufacturing and assembly. The technician will help ensure that basic quality system requirements are being followed in regard to calibration, NCRs, training, and documentation.

What you will be doing

  • Performs Preliminary review of parts on NCRs on daily basis
  • Ensures validation work orders are in place for process changes and helps with containment methods (NCRs, Stop Works/Ships) till completed and approved
  • Help train on basic quality procedures/processes within Value Stream
  • Isolates suspect parts in Inventory, WIP and Finished Goods (includes Stock Transactions)
  • Works with Operations Specialist and Product Engineer to determine if Assembly, Component, Process, Test, etc. issue that is causing Quality Issue on the Floor
  • Works escalations with other quality team members for components or material hung up in Inspection Quality Processes (Material Certs, PPAP, IQA)

What We Are Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of assembly, manufacturing and test related procedures and processes
  • Detailed knowledge of WISE, with emphasis on stock transactions and MRB screens
  • Ability to perform simple inspection set-ups and use of inspection equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and process drawings with GD&T
  • Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
  • Good time management and task prioritization skills
