As a Automotive Tech Support Rep for Dorman Products at our Powertrain Industries location, you will beresponsible for the complete handling of customer orders and answering technical questions.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
* Fulfill promises made to customers 100% of the time or notify them of changes
* Pro-actively track customer orders to ensure on-time shipping
* Handle arrangements for shipment of product
* Answer phones providing feedback to customers as requested
* Tech line phone support including quality control follow up
* Work with material and production groups as needed to alert customers of potential backorders
* Ability to learn products, multiple systems and customer portals
* Maintain accurate work Instructions as customer requirements or processes change
* Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
*Have general automotive parts experience
* Have good organizational skills
* Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
* Ability to handle complaints regarding unpleasant situations or conflicts
* Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
* Customer Service experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment desired
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Docs
* ERP/MRP experience in a manufacturing environment desired
