This position is responsible for the receipt and distribution of incoming freight, prioritizing the delivery of overnight and items requiring special handling or refrigeration. Provides necessary documentation is provided to Finance to ensure proper control of capital assets by communicating all capital equipment receipts and its related asset tag numbers.
Ensures incoming items are not lost or improperly handled and that all documentation is accurate and properly filed for future audit trail reference via use of handheld track pads or other related documentation.
Ensures that Storeroom equipment is properly charged, in functional working order, and when appropriate, updates the related software to ensure it is operating at current levels.
This position is also responsible for the packaging and shipping of items being returned, or repaired making sure items are properly packaged, insured, and shipped in accordance with department to receiving shipping form. This position has the authority and responsibility to determine the priority of items received and dispersed throughout the health system.
Individual is responsible for the procurement and maintaining proper par levels for infant formula. Individual will be responsible for all inventory management regarding infant formula kept in house.
Position includes working closely with the Interiors department to organize equipment deliveries. This will entail the uncrating, delivery, and packing material disposal. Job will also include removal of old equipment.
This position is challenged to work closely with purchasing in identifying items that are received when there is limited or no information provided.
Decisions this position must refer to the Lead and or Supervisor include, ordering of supplies and the return of items to the Distribution Center.
This position does not provide patient care.
