ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for accurately handling cash and credit card transactions at the Point of Sale system.
  2. Provides timely cocktail service in a friendly and courteous manner.
  3. Prepares cocktails following company standards.
  4. Collect orders from Bartender, add appropriate garnish, and place on tray.
  5. Serve as an Ambassador of the Company while working special/promotional events on property as directed by management.
  6. Requests identification from patrons, insuring that all guests are 21 or older.
  7. Removes empty or dirty glasses, bottles and ashtrays and returns them to the bar or kitchen.
  8. Maintains the cleanliness of bar areas and serve stations.
  9. Responsible for assuring the highest quality guest experience by promoting the Purpose and Values Model throughout all areas of responsibility.
  10. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to Departmental, and Company policies and procedures.
  11. Other related duties as assigned including cashiering for the nightclub on occasion.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Three to six months of related experience and/or training in a similar food outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere. Must be able to work with the public and present a clean, courteous image.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must register and maintain registration as a gaming employee in the State of Nevada pursuant to NRS 463.335.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Ability read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to operate using units of American money and weight measurement.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Point-of-sale system knowledge

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing, Walking, Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Hearing, Lifting 15lbs, Sitting, Bending/Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Pushing, Turning, Balancing.
