Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
Operate /monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
Load and unload items on the production line, including packaging or unpacking products.
Start and stop the production line as needed to keep up with workflow and prevent potential safety hazards.
Inspect products for defects and pull items off the line before they proceed further in the production process.
Delivery of product to meet scheduled customer demands and meet quality objectives
Works with manufacturing staff on quality and production-related issues.
Possesses the ability to read and understand ruler and traceability records.
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.
Combination of additional education and experience
Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions
Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a ruler
Ability to run and operate similar equipment
3+ years experience with operating machinery, and inspection in a similar function or environment
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Display knowledge of key areas of the manufacturing process
