Poly's paid intern experience offers students the opportunity to explore a career in Alliance Marketing. Our 8-week summer program, beginning June 6th and ending July 29th, 2022 provides interns with the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about marketing, product launches, software technology, and has the ability to take initaitive, collaborate, and contribute to our partnership with Zoom-a trailblazer in the video space that supports over 300 million meeting participants daily!

This is an exciting opportunity for any talented scholar with a Marketing or Sales related major to come into a high growth, fast paced environment and get real hands-on experience. This position will be onsite at our offices in Austin, Texas.

Prior to the end of the internship, you will also create a presentation for Poly leadership on your overall internship experience and how your projects helped contribute towards strengthening the Zoom partnership.

Your day to day:

You will report to the Zoom Alliance Marketing Manager who will serve as a mentor sharing industry knowledge and coach you throughout your 8-week internship. You will be responsible for projects that expose you to real business situations. You will learn how your contributions roll into a Global Go-to-Market plan to drive sales, demand, and awareness around Poly's partnership with Zoom.

Key Resonsibilites:

  • Take lead on planning Poly's sponsorship of Zoom Academy, Zoom's annual education conference, from start to finish.
  • Pioneer a global workflow and structure around Zoom customer success stories that demonstrate the power of the Poly and Zoom partnership.
  • Own building and creating a customer-facing Education newsletter that promotes Poly's complete portfolio for hybrid learning, success stories, and Poly+Zoom jointly funded Grants Program.
  • Partner alongside Channel Marketing and Sales Enablement to promote latest news and content with our global Sales and Partner community.
  • Own refreshing Poly assets with latest information on the Zoom partnership.
  • Work closely with reporting manager to strategize with Product Marketing, Sales Acceleration, and Engineerinig on upcoming product launches.

What you'll learn:

  • Poly's Global Business Structure - you will gain an understanding on the B2B industry, and how Poly partners with reseller/distributors worldwide to deliver hardware to Zoom customers.
  • Poly's Alliance Partnerships - you will gain a strong knowledge of how Poly partners with Zoom to meet the needs of customers worldwide and educate our Sales and Partner community.
  • Poly's Go-To-Market Structure - you will learn how various marketing teams across the organization, such as Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Public Relations, work together to execute product launches and strategic initiatives to further strengthen the Zoom Alliance partnership.
  • Marketing Tools & Tracking - you will learn how Poly tracks the success of our programs and initiatives and partners with Sales to build and execute them.
